Turning Leaf is a brand produced by E & J Gallo wines in Modesto, California. The wines are accessible, value-driven whites, reds and rosé (White Zinfandel) that are available in most supermarkets and retail establishments.
I got this as a wine rack filler and only paid $3.50+tax. For that price, it serves it's purpose. Smooth to someone with deeper pallet.
Do they add sugar to this wine?Doesn't californian wineries can,t do anything better than this? Please, we are not fools....but we look for a honest wine....and this is not the case...
very pleasant. really surprised, bought this bottle, still trying to find the absolute best table wine for drinking without being overly indulged. good aroma, pleasing to the palate, and goes down smooth. that is my thoughts anyway. still trying this wine thing. cheers. any suggestions would be great.
The cherry and oak flavors stand out theist to me.
I'm all about enjoying wine for $10 or less! Even happier, if it is $5 or less, which is what I paid for this wine on sale. Nice, easy-drinking. maybe rather non-descript. Slight fruity aroma, then with a soft tannic, oaky taste and quick finish. Enjoyed it with both spaghetti and pizza. Nothing earth shatterine here. If you are looking for something affordable and drinkable, this fits the bill.
