From 150 yr old vines. Lots of sagebrush on the nose. Earthy aromas with hints of licorice. On the palate, it has wonderful texture, is layered and complex. Very well balanced. Loads of blue and black fruits along with some dark red berry and hints of spice and sage. 95 pts. 9/1/12 at winery

Bursting with raspberries and strawberries complemented by white pepper, vanilla, and sage. Deep dark purple color, smooth on the palate, light tannins and a hint of fruity sweetness. Delicious!
