The Zinfandel lots from the youngest vines (around 25 years) are put into a general blend called Juvenile. This is always one of the least expensive and delicious offerings. The 2007 Zinfandel Juvenile offers good berry fruit, pepper, and spice as well as medium body, and no hard edges. This seductive Zin can be enjoyed over the next 2-3 years. (89 Points - Robert Parker) Good deep red. Black fruit and licorice aromas complemented by exotic chocolate and coffee nuances. Classic sweet zin flavors of dark berries, pepper and spices framed by ripe acidity. Finishes sweet, dense and persistent. A very good vintage for this blend, which is always an excellent value; includes juice from recently replanted vines from some of Turley's top sites. (89 Points - Steven Tanzer)
