Turley Vineyards Zinfandel "Buck Cobb" 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2015 Zinfandel Buck Cobb Vineyard hits the palate with serious depth and intensity. Powerful and dense, with plenty of mountain tannin, the 2015 is a big, heady wine that needs time to fully come together. A host of leather, cedar, tobacco and dried herbs add nuance through to the finish. With time in the glass, the wine shows good aromatic dimension. It will be interesting to see what the next year brings." *-Vinous (91 Points)*

The winery is a family operation helmed brother and sister duo Larry and Helen Turley, founded in 1993. Their prestigious wines are in constantly high demand, and their private wine club has a two-year waiting list. The wines are produced from several vineyards, with vines dating back to the 1800s. Each terroir lends its own character to the wines, and they are given separate labels according to location each vintage. The vineyards are located in Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Lodi, Howell Mountain and Contra Costa.  Read less
