Turley 03 Moore Earthquake Zin93-95 Points - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate: The 2003 Zinfandel Moore Earthquake Vineyard is a prodigious effort. The good news is that there are 500 cases of this offering, which tips the scales at 16.3% alcohol. A big, sweet bouquet of red and black currants, raspberries, licorice, and hints of cassis and pepper is followed by a full-bodied, rich, voluptuously-textured Zin with crisp, zesty acidity, huge body, and terrific definition as well as vibrancy. This large-scaled wine should drink well for up to a decade.

Turley 02 Moore Earthquake Zin95-97 Points - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate: I was blown away by the 2002 Zinfandel Moore (Earthquake) Vineyard. This Bordeaux-like, rich, inky/purple-colored effort (500 cases; 16.2% alcohol) boasts a voluptuous texture, huge body, and spectacular characteristics of blackberry liqueur, creme de cassis, scorched earth, violets, and a hint of pepper. Complex and rich, this full-throttle Zin pushes the quality of this varietal to an almost surreal level. This is one of the coolest sites the Turleys farm, and many vintages are not harvested until November ... amazing!

Turley 01 Moore Earthquake Zin 95 Points - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate: A saturated ruby/purple color along with notes of blueberries, blackberries, minerals, and white flowers are found in the spectacular 2001 Zinfandel Moore (Earthquake) Vineyard (15.4% alcohol). Full-bodied, opulent, and voluptuous, with admirable purity, palate presence, and density, this is the type of All-American Zinfandel that Turley routinely achieves. With good underlying acidity supporting the enormous concentration and richness.
