Turkey Flat Shiraz 2005

Member Review by winolee:

WA95, WE94, WS91 and they weren't lying! The deep, rich purple color with a bouquet of red fruit and cedar was a great preview of what's to come. It has front tastes of luscious and elegant fruit - plummy, red currant, raspberries. It then transitions to dark chocolate and cedar. This is full bodied but has a really smooth ride to it. Great buy for the price! Robert Parker suggests that this vintage be drunk at 2012. It was excellent for me at 2008, I can't wait to see how it pans out in 2012 (if I hold on to it for that long).

His vines flourished and the land – Section One, in the Hundred of Moorooroo – was bought in 1865 by Gottlieb Ernst Schulz, a successful butcher who established a thriving retail business among the vines.
