Tunnel of Elms Cabernet 2005
I just had this wine at Cafe Mezza & Grill. Its a shame that Houston doesn't sell it locally -I have looked all over. It is dry, light, and smooth. A good wine by itself or with a meal. I had it with just some hummus and it was very good.Add winemaker's notes

This wine was the 'house wine' at an excellent suburban Indianapolis restaurant . I had not seen it before and could not believe the quality for the price. It would be suitable for anything from 'porch sipping' to great dining. Not sure where to buy it locally.
Anyone looking to buy it in a local wine shop is going to be disappointed. It is an on-premise only wine. But, at the price you can almost afford to eat out more often.
