Tudal Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley(2002)

2002. After two weeks of fermentation the free run was transferred to our holding tank with the remaining must lightly pressed in our half ton basket press. After the settling period, the wine was transferred into French Oak barrels and aged for thirty months, then hand bottled at the winery. Tasting Notes In the glass, our Old Vine is moderately intense and has a medium dark ruby color. On the palate the wine expresses a forward Bing cherry flavor with blackberry undertones. The wine shows considerable richness and concentration. The pleasant tannins on the finish will insure this wine will cellar for at least ten to fifteen years. This limited production of hand crafted Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon will be an excellent and valued addition to your cellar.    (hide)
