Tuck's Ridge Pinot Noir Mornington Peninsula 2009

Member Review by superab:

Quite fragrant on the nose with lots of red fruit and some spicy notes. Smooth with slippery tannins and a long finish. Very elegant wine which could still cellar for a couple more years

Classic and Burgundian in style the Tuck’s Ridge Pinot Noir boasts truffle and loam notes on top of the dried cherry and rose petal. Although soft and mellow from several years of bottle age it still needs a few minutes to open up and express the complex earthy nose to its fullest. Serve this with traditional French dishes such as beef bourgogne or roast lamb with herbs de Provence.
