Not a bad little wine for the price. The nose is more along the lines of red fruits: cherry, raspberry, a little plum. Lacking a bit in the dark fruit category. The front is nicely fruity, but it dies in the mid-palate, recovering a bit in a decent finish.

Evident red fruit on the palate but a little astringent and rather persistent tannins, not bad but it would benefit from a tiny addition of Shiraz/Cabernet to full the flavour whole in the back... it needs food or some strong cheese
Especialmente recomendable para comer carne argentina. Specially recommended for argentinian meat.
as an argentinian, and specialist in food and beverages, I agree with comments on this malbec. I would rather blned it with a cabernet. For Syrah lovers, don't look for blends, if you get at your location, try the Luigi Bosca Reserva Syrah, specially combined with lamb, deer, wild duck,

This solid, medium-bodied red features hints of spice and tobacco to the cherry and dark plum notes, as medium-grade tannins frame the finish. Drink now.
The 2011 Trumpeter Malbec sees three to six months aging in used French oak. It has a fresh blackberry and raspberry-scented bouquet, while the herbaceous palate is chunky and a little brusque, but is at least fresh and clean. Personally, I prefer the Cruz Alta Malbec! Drink now.
Aromas of cinnamon and berries lead into flavors ofcherry, blackberry, and plum intermingled with hints of ginger and pepper. A rich, creamy wine with intense deep tannins, a touch of vanilla toast and a long, full finish.
Soft and composed bouquet, with fruit aromas you will recognize and nothing funky or strained. The mouth is complete and better than ordinary, with pure but simple cassis, blueberry and plum fruit. A hint of oak allows for coffee and mocha to grace the modest finish.
Good full red-ruby. Subdued but pure aromas of plum and pepper lifted by spices. A juicy, reserved midweight, with a restrained sweetness to its dark fruit and pepper flavors. Not complex but nicely balanced. Finished with rather fine-grained tannins. The best of the current wines under the trumpeter label, but those listed as ldquo;also recommendedrdquo; are similarly good value.
The wines from Argentina are great in quality and reasonably priced! This one is dark and dense with attractive berry aromas. A full, fruity wine, with excellent body, it has flavors of cherry, blackberry, boysenberry and plum. The wine has hints of sweet spice upon a long lasting finish. Enjoy with char-broiled steaks or BBQ ribs.
Juicy raspberry, blackberry and fig flavors are backed by well-integrated toast on the medium-weight finish. Drink now.
