Truchard Chardonnay Carneros 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

The Truchard family has been growing vines in the Carneros region of Napa for over 30 years. They now produce 12 different varieties of wine in addition to estate-grown olive oil. The Thieves love this chardonnay because of it's big flavor: this is a full-bodied, rich wine that is consistently delicious year after year. The 2005 vintage boasts fresh tropical fruit, sweet lemon and honeysuckle with a vanilla and toasted oak finish. If you like Rombauer, you'll probably like Truchard as the wines are made in a similar style.
