Winemaker's Notes:

Arbin specializes in Mondeuse, a varietal with a fleshy, fruit-laden texture whose flavors hypothetically blend cru Beaujolais Gamay with Northern Rhône Syrah and just a bit of Cabernet Franc from the Loire. The Cuvée Prestige des Arpentes has a deep ruby color. Darker fruit than the Harmonie, and a bit more closed on the nose. Blackberry with a bit of red fruit peaking through, along with a touch of pepper. A hint of herbs (mountain herbs, as in Chartreuse) comes through on the rich, full-bodied palate. The lightly tannic finish is also long.
