Trivento Private Selection Malbec 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

Concha y Toro sets the standard for Chilean winemaking and has firmly established itself as a leader in great value Chilean wine. Trivento takes its name from the three different winds that blow through the vineyards throughout the year - the Zonda, the Sudesta and the Polar. They shape the character of the vineyards and the wines. The wines in the Private Selection really set the standard at Trivento with great value, high-calibre wines. The Malbec is a medium-bodied and fruit-forward wine held together with great structure. On the nose are notes of plums, cherries and forest floor. On the palate the tannins are sweet, the texture is velvety and the finish is long. This Malbec is confident and food-friendly, making it the ideal companion to red meats such as braised osso buco.
