Trivento Malbec Amado Sur 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

Meticulous assemblage of Malbec, with powerful Mendozan Syrah and rediscovered Bonarda. Dark red with violet hues and crimson reflections. Generous aromas of fresh red fruit combine with notes of clove, smoke, vanilla and toast. Seductive on the palate, with exquisitely smooth tannins that bring on a pleasurable and impetuous finish. This blend of Malbec, Syrah and Bonarda beckon to be paired with an appetizer of traditional Mendozan beef empanadas seasoned with cumin, and a main dish of veal ribs alongside candied rosemary potatoes.
