Trione Vineyards Alexander Valley Bordeaux Blend 2006
Each variety was fermented separately in small open top vessels. The Cabernet and Merlot were made using a unique cap irrigation device that brings in oxygen as the free-run wine is being circulated over the cap during the peak of fermentation. This technique ensures the complexing of tannins with the color compounds found in the grapes as well as maximizing proper yeast cell health and viability.

Complex, rich and supple on the finish. The aromas of red currants, blackberry and sage are followed on the palate. This wine is just beginning to open up and will age beautifully for the next 8-10 years if cellared properly.
