Trinity Hill Viognier Hawkes Bay Trinity Hill 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

The Hawkes Bay label presents a diverse range of fruit-driven, earlier-drinking wines. Grapes are drawn from a number of sites. These wines are great value-for-money, best drunk young or cellared for only a few years. There is little or no oak used in the making of the “Hawkes Bay” wines.Intense, brilliant golden-yellow with a highly aromatic nose of orange blossom, cumquat peel and jasmine. The Viognier is has a full, rich and soft texture. The exotic and sensual nature of this wine makes it a great substitute for Chardonnay. It pairs really well with Asian-style foods (great with spices), pork, cheese, desserts featuring apples, pears or quinces.
