RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Editorial Reviews for Trinitas Zinfandel Contra Costa County Old Vine
Very nice right out of the gate with a lifted, fresh nose of briarwood, wild blackberry, lilac, a hint of cinnamon, oak shavings, and background notes of herbs that recall carrots tops all in balance and harmony. In the mouth this exhibits that same harmony with excellent depth and integration. There’s a touch of wood spice grounded in an upfront earthiness that’s followed by clear and precise black raspberry and black cherry fruit that offers up hints of sapwood, minerals, and a sweet baking spice note that leads to a smooth, long finish. 91pts
Bright and peppery, with raspberry and sweet candy aromas. Good, tart acidity and freshness here, hearty oak flavors, cherry and a pleasant candied finish.
A spicy and herbal/floral wine with lots of cherry fruit, a sharp sweetness that doesn't overpower any of the other elements, with good acidity. The high point of the sugar is a bit much, but otherwise this wine is really a lot of fun to drink and explore.
Spiced cherries and a bit of chinese food on the nose. Big and powdery cherries with a wallop of spice and heat that almost caught me off guard but it didn't. Because I was ready.
i placed this in the decanter prior to the scored tasting i held last weekend, and people loved it. great way to start people's palates, since it's not a fruit bomb or an overly oaked, brawny style. Raspberries and red fruits on the nose and palate with some spice, very smooth and balanced, nice acids, round in the mouth with a soft, mild tannin profile on the finish. for $15, this is great zin.
I love the smoothness and richness. Has a slight taste of chocolate. Visit the cellar store, wonderful!
