The 2006 vintage was a late long harvest, which allowed forextended hang time and complexity in flavor. This winecombines both the earthy, melon-like flavors of warmweather Sauvignon Blanc with the citrus and tropical fruit ofcooler climate Sauvignon Blanc. It is bright, aggressive andremarkably refreshing. Sauvignon Blanc is often hailed as the perfect seafoodwine. The Trinchero Family Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with afried oyster po-boy, grilled shrimp and scallops or smokedtrout. Because of its natural brisk acidity, it is also perfectwith any salad dish.
