- The 1997 vintage may prove to be the greatest in Alsace since 1949. This wine is golden in color with a fruity, zesty, citrus nose. On the palate it is dry and medium-bodied, showing apple and ripe citrus fruit flavors with balanced acidity and an exceptionally smooth finish. This wine pairs particularly well with white meats, seafood and pasta.
