User Reviews for Trimbach Gewürztraminer Alsace Aoc

Winemaker's Notes:

Only in the greatest vintages do we make top selections of grapes from the choicest vineyard plots to fashion a rich, weighty, opulent wine which can take many years to develop its full potential. A massive wine that fills the mouth with succulent fruit. Ripe, but not too much, this wine is rich, complex and fat, with a beautiful structure and length. Fruitiness, dryness and smokyness are its typical characters from Alsace and make this Pinot Gris a nice companion of food. It goes together with terrines, foie gras, smoked fishes and fish in sauce, and especially salmon and white meats. It is the ideal compagnon of spicy, oriental and asiatic foods thanks to its exquisite fruitiness which confers fullness and perfect harmony.
