What to Expect

Riesling is a chameleon of a grape, able to produce world class wines that range from bone dry to unctuously sweet. Germany is most closely associated with Riesling, where all styles are made and the range of flavors runs the gamut from steely and crisp with crunchy mineral-driven flavors to fresh lime, apple and peach flavored expressions - even rich honied, candied fruit tones in the great dessert wines.

Reviews

The wine is very attractive and quite powerful. It is a full-bodied wine with intensity, depth, beautiful mineral flavors and rich, ripe acidity with great personality and finesse. Aging potential: 10+ years. The Frederic emile is delicious with fish, poultry and veal, sea scallops, and salmon. Dover sole and walleye pike are also great companions, as are grilled and marinated fish, or fish cooked in white wine sauces.
