What to Expect

Riesling is a chameleon of a grape, able to produce world class wines that range from bone dry to unctuously sweet. Germany is most closely associated with Riesling, where all styles are made and the range of flavors runs the gamut from steely and crisp with crunchy mineral-driven flavors to fresh lime, apple and peach flavored expressions - even rich honied, candied fruit tones in the great dessert wines.

Dry and firmly-structured, but very fruity, this multifaceted wine owes its great depth of flavour to the combination of Riesling read more...

Jancis
Robinson

Rating: 18/20 - As reviewed by Jancis Robinson Very very deep, mineral flavours. Tingly acidity. Some lychee notes in its relatively rich nose thanks to the noble rot that affected about 30 per cent of the grapes and makes this, like the famous 1989, all of which qualified as at least Vendange Tardive, relatively early maturing and open.
