Very good light wine, for the price i recommend it.
Most drinkable Malbecs start at about $20.....this is an exception. Without a doubt the best Malbec I've sampled under $10.....quite good. Beautiful violet color....floral overtones and plum on the nose.....firm tannins and a nice peppery finish. I would say this wine would be great with pizza or paella...similar in body to a Tempranillo.
I've spent $20.00 more for a bottle of bad Malbec. This isn't just excellent for the price, it is simply excellent!
Rarely do I find a wine under $10 that is drinkable and doesn't leave me with a bad headache the next day. Triada's malbec takes the lead on my list of good wines for an affordable price. I got this on sale at our local co-op for $6.99 ... normally I'd never buy a bottle of wine that cheap but this one is a rare gem. Nice hints of vanilla and given a thumbs up by everyone who I've had taste it. After consuming a full bottle by myself I woke with no headache ... that in itself is a testament to this wine!
I received this wine in a gift basket and fell in love with it. Unfortunately I cannot find it anywhere...Any suggestions?
I have not found a Malbec that I did not like, and Triada for the price is excellent!
