Trevor Jones Chardonnay Barossa Valley Virgin 2009
The gold-colored 2008 Virgin Chardonnay offers up a fragrant perfume of pear, spiced apple, and tropical fruit aromas. Vibrant, balanced, and lengthy on the palate, it will drink well for another 2 years. ** Only 7 in Stock **Add winemaker's notes
White peach and pear flavors make this rich, buttery wine work well with grilled chicken served with a fruit sauce (e.g., smothered in apples). The wine drinks more like a Sauvignon Blanc than a Chardonnay. It has a long finish and is a bit heavier than an SB, but lacks the oak flavoring of a typical Chardonnay.
Good floral but not too sweet.
This is a great unoaked chardonnay. Great for summer. Lots of honeysuckle, and surrounded by good mineral undertones. I would recommend this at $13.99.
Three and a half glasses
Bought this at Costco for 10.99 & thought it was vey pleasant for the price. Pineapple, peach and smooth finish

The 2000 Virgin is a full-bodied, gorgeously fruity Chardonnay offering notes of ripe apple, pears, and tropical fruits. Pure and ripe, with zesty acidity as well as plenty of glycerin and flesh, it should be consumed over the next year.
The 2006 Virgin Chardonnay was blended from the fruit of 15 growers and 20 different parcels. As the name may suggest, it receives no oak treatment. Medium straw-colored, it offers an alluring bouquet of white peach, pear, and baked apple. Medium-bodied, with excellent concentration, the wine is mouth-filling, rich and long in the finish. Drink it over the next 1ndash;2 years.
This beauty from Trevor Jones is arguably the finest tank-fermented and aged, non-oaked New World Chardonnay. Some lees contact along with early bottling result in an exquisite Chardonnay displaying notes of tangerine oil, orange zest, white peaches, and lemon in a vibrant, vivacious format. There is a light green hue to the winersquo;s straw color. With surprising fatness, superb fruit, wonderful richness and length, and good underlying acidity buttressing admirable power as well as freshness, this knock-out should be consumed over the next 1ndash;2 years. There are 4,000 cases of this beauty.
This Austrailian wine exhibits all the great characteristics of the Chardonnay grape without the manipulation of oak. Melon, herbs, and an underlining complexity dominate the flavor spectrum of this full-bodied wine. The finish is very clean, making this a wine with most seafood dishes. So twist off the cap and enjoy.
