The 2000 Virgin is a full-bodied, gorgeously fruity Chardonnay offering notes of ripe apple, pears, and tropical fruits. Pure and ripe, with zesty acidity as well as plenty of glycerin and flesh, it should be consumed over the next year.
Pale gold. Fresh pear, nectarine and peach on the nose, with a bright floral quality adding verve. Firm, juicy orchard and pit fruit flavors are nicely lifted by talc-y minerals. Blends ripe and bright notes deftly, finishing with impressive juicy, leesy persistence. One could drink lots of this very easily.

This Austrailian wine exhibits all the great characteristics of the Chardonnay grape without the manipulation of oak. Melon, herbs, and an underlining complexity dominate the flavor spectrum of this full-bodied wine. The finish is very clean, making this a wine with most seafood dishes. The 2006 Virgin Chardonnay was blended from the fruit of 15 growers and 20 different parcels. As the name may suggest, it receives no oak treatment. Medium straw-colored, it offers an alluring bouquet of white peach, pear, and baked apple. Medium-bodied, with excellent concentration, the wine is mouth-filling, rich and long in the finish. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.
