The Estate vineyard is situated on a flat but sheltered site with silt loam soils over ancient riverbed of the Waimakariri river. Tasting Notes:

Extended aging in the tank imparted an elegant complexity to balance the lemon and lime zest flavours with fabulous minerality, while balanced acidity keeps the palate interesting.

The grapes were pressed immediately, and the clear juice then fermented in typical Canterbury style - slowly at low temperatures.
