Food Pairings for Tres Sabores Zinfandel Blend Rutherford ¿porqué No
Nose of dark chocolate, tobacco, and hints of leather, mint or methol, and dark fruit. Smooth, round in the mouth, it almost caresses the tongue with dark cherry, blackberry, and hints of fruit cream and chocolate. Finish is long and velvety, almost airy, with oak, fruit, and oil. This was a delicious wine and pretty good QPR for price as tested about $20.
The twelfth vintage of this most winsome blend is more than just the ‘best of the rest of the cellar’ of estate wine. We also sourced fruit from special vineyards in Rutherford, Calistoga, Sonoma, and Howell Mtn to give you even more of an excuse to try it. And really… ¿Por qué No?!! It’s everyone’s favorite party, pizza, picnic, Bar-B-Que, & Bistro wine thanks to the spirited joy it brings to the palate. The somewhat unconventional blend lends it an exotic charm: Just over half Zinfandel, about 1/3 Petite Sirah, a strong contribution of Cabernet Sauvignon & a dollop of Petit Verdot. “¿Why not?” try it? 2000 cases made Viticulture: A blend of organically certified, organic, & sustainable
