This is a good Trader Joe's wine to have with any meal. It is not very expensive so it is good for the every day wine.
Started out tasting a little plain with an even, fruity flavor. As it opened up a hint of oak came through and it was much more interesting. I think we bought this at Trader Joes for under $10 so I would say it was a good deal, but not necessarily remarkable.
I enjoyed this wine from Trader Joe's. Great for just a week-night wine. Pleasant taste for the price!
Received as a hostess gift and was surprisingly pleased. Smell of a freshly opened jar of raspberry preserves. Texture was medium and it tasted like I had bit into a fresh raspberry, but not just the raspberry the actual seed! Good wine, I would buy for myself. Would be great w/ cheese and fruit.
I got this wine after a recommendation from Trader Joe's - cheaper than what is listed on here. It's got a good, fruity, full taste. Nice wine for relaxing at home. Would buy again at this price.
I am a big fan of trader joes wines, and the wonderful deals that the company provides for us. However, this is by far the WORST wine I have purchased there. Lets be honest, it tastes like they poured pure refined sugar into the bottle. I'm sorry for such a negative post, but on one else should waste their money on this one.
This wine is moderately complex and definitely a good deal for $4.99 at Trader Joe's. It's an excellent everyday wine but requires someone confident in their own ability to discern a good wine by using more than snob appeal and how much they paid for it. Many wine drinkers only "know it's good" because it was expensive. I'm not comparing this to a great wine, but it's very drinkable for the price.
