Trénel Fils Mâcon-Villages 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

A blend of wines from the communes of Charnay-ls-Mcon and Farges-ls-Mcon, areas extending south to the north of Mcon. This combination gives both fine aromas and balance, reflecting all the characteristic expression of Chardonnay. Tasting notes: Brilliant gold. The nose is a fresh and floral blend of fresh fruit (citrus) aromas. On the palate, soft and round, with pleasant lemony flavors and good length.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
