Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This Chardonnay is made from free-run juice. Quite an achievement for such an appellation as Mâcon-Villages. This is an unoaked wine that's made to be drunk upon release. Plus, have you heard about how generous, as in brilliant, this vintage was in Burgundy?

Viré-Clessé is a relatively new white wine appellation ('98) in the Mâconnais. It was basically created for ''more serious'' white wines in this sub-region of southern Burgundy. This has depth, in part because of the bit of wood age (not new) this sees.

Winemaker's Notes:

Brilliant light gold color. Fresh fruit aromas (citrus) combine with a refreshingly floral nose. The supple, full palate is long and harmonious, ending on a pleasingly lemony note. Genuine. Best served chilled (8° - 11° C), before meals, it also goes beautifully with seafood, fish, white meats and goat's cheese.
