An exceptionally well balanced growing season in Paso Robles, the 2001 vintage of Treana Red displays a pronounced, deep ruby color in the glass. True to it's Cabernet base, up-front aromas of ripe, briary black fruits and tobacco are complimented by elegant notes of toasted oak. Syrah adds beautiful spice and leathery nuances to the blend. The finish is long and lingering.
