Travaglini Nebbiolo Gattinara 1998

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

Dusty, chalky nose gave way to deep, ripe fruit of dark berries and hints of charcoal and smokiness. Poured it's even a bit foggy. Deep rich stewed dark fruit is rich and velvety on the palate and there are pleasant hints of earthiness. It's 12 years old and showing no signs of slowing down! Very good. Can't wait to work it into dinner.
