Trascampanas Verdejo Do Rueda 2010

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

A touch of almond shell on the nose accents some nice floral tones with a creamy lemon core lurking underneath. This is very broad on entry but nicely bright with wonderfully fresh muskmelon and bitter apple fruit draped across the spice of acidity. There’s a minor mineral tone that emerges on the back end and lends the fairly long finish a nice steely edge to the slightly orange-toned fruit. This really comes together nicely in the mouth, showing some elegance. 89pts

Lemon curd - it's very clean with a bit of lemon zest as well. Tart and acidic, medium bodied with citrus. Not my favorite.
