Trapiche Syrah Oak Cask 2009
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
This was an interesting Malbec, surprisingly light and very easy to drink on the porch after dinner. The flavors are not intense in your mouth
I would pass on this one. It has a green character to it that flaws it. At this price point I would go with a Terrazas any day over this.
Smooth and delightful blackberry jam, but not overly sweet or over powering. Great social wine after skiing or before dinner.

Intense red color. A fleshy wine with aromas of liquorice Leather, tobacco, chocolate, smoke and dried fruit. Intense blackberry flavor.
Notes: Fermentation and maceration in small concrete vats during over 25 days. Pneumatic pressing. Natural malolactic fermentation. Aged for nine months in American oak barrels.
