Dandarin has a label listed alcohol by volume of 14.5%. Prior to drinking the wine was decanted for roughly five hours. The wine has a very dark red color with black reflexes. On the nose I found red fruits including blueberry & raspberry, some blackcurrant, hints of chocolate and spices. I would describe the bouquet as a real sensation. All these aromas formed a perfect harmony which got me even more excited to take the first zip... And the first zip was amazing! Not only has the Dandarin extremely pleasing, mellow tannins, it's also soft with some fruit notes. I could still taste the dark chocolate that I had on the nose. Dry with some acidity on the palate and the finish is overwhelmingly long. Tasting notes taken from Vino in Love: http://vinoinlove.com/2005-trabucchi-dlllasi-dandarin-igt/
