Tousey Pinot Noir 2010
Editorial Reviews for Tousey Pinot Noir
A lovely, pale wine. This smells wonderful. A bit stemmy with a slight pine needle cast to the bright, red-fruited nose that is complex and delicate at the same time. On entry this has a fine leading edge of sweet red fruit, wild strawberry tone and more stemmy accents and a darker base. The texture is quite elegant and bright with the tannins firm yet layered under the ripe fruit. The long finish continues the theme of strawberry, herb and some cherry with maybe a bit of creamy oak rounding things out. Tense and a bit severe even, this is just lovely Pinot and it makes a statement. 90pts
Great, bright ruby color. Peppery. Very smooth with a touch of tannins. Great color, great aromatics, great taste, great wine!
Nice fruit body - tropical and peaches. The mouth has strong acidity, gives it a very solid feel. Tart fruit acidity on the finish.
light and food friendly, bright cherry fruit, some raspberries, a bit of pepper and spice on the finish. easy drinking
Tart, with red berries and floral perfumes. Not my favorite, but i cant pin-point why?
Light to medium body, with bright red fruits on the palate--like cranberry and raspberry, with subtle earthy tones--great acidity and a good food wine.
Light red. Nutty and fruity flavor. This Pinot Noir would be great with a cheese plate.
