Torrins Moliner Gran Seleccion NV

Member Review by WinePleasures:

Golden straw colour with a very delicate bead of bubbles. Dried fruits with heavy toast aromas and hints of raisens bombard your nose and pallate on first whif, but as the wine opens, subtle citrus notes writhe out of the glass like an Aarabian genie. Very delicate balance between body, acidity and mousse, this wine requires pampering and patience. Best if served alongside a long, lingering, summer dinner.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
