Torres Vina Sol 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Intense, with outstanding notes of flowers and ripe fruits (banana, pear, apple and peach), combined with delightful touches of citrus (mandarin zest) on a mentholated base. It's firm, fresh, long and elegant in the body, with a lingering finish. Excellent as an aperitif and acompaniment for rice dishes, seafood and fish. Serve chilled.

2008: zingy, herbaceous bordering on floral, mouthwateringly refreshing. At 11.5% and £4.49 how can you not love it for summer.

Light and simple, with indistinct aromas that carry a touch of honey. The wine is made from the Parellada grape, one of the components of Spanish cava. It features melon, apple and underripe banana flavors before a dry, smooth finish. It represents the epitome of a mellow and mild, but good white wine.

Bright and crisp with hints of flower and fruit. It is as refreshing and light as a spring breeze. Enjoy before dinner or with light foods.

Pale straw. Spicy pear and quince aromas are brightened by lime zest and talc-y minerals. Brisk citrus flavors are firm and direct, picking up a riper peach note with air. A refreshing easy-drinking lightweight that should be a real crowd pleaser .

Fresh and fruity pineapple and crisp apple flavors abound in this white made from the Parellada grape. An ideal pairing would be with seafood or soft cheeses.

Slightly mineral on the nose, with likable aromas of apple and white stone fruits. Downright tangy on the palate, bordering on sour, with lime, green apple and chalk-like flavors. Finishes shy but sharp, without much in the midsection.
