Nice, easy drinking tempranillo that goes well by on its own or easily paired with meat-based dishes. Nicely balanced, subtle tannins, dark fruits, earthy, and herbal. 13.5% alcohol. Comes with plastic black bull decorative. At $8.99 it's a great value wine.
$6.99 Capsicum, hint of ripe tomato, old cigarette butt, dusty spice and dirt. Fantastic color as always! 2nd) Muted red fruit, pencil, cigarette (2 hours later) 1st) Lively and juicy red fruit. Pretty balanced, a little tannic...just enough to stand up to a wide range of food. Pairs exceptionally well to very-spicy Asian food. Nice smooth finish, lingering aftertaste. Glowy, creamy aftertaste. Put this wine on your budget Go-To List, for the price, it over-delivers!
i had a bad day at work and really wanted to try something different - a little naughty hahaha i saw the black bull hanging from the bottle but i was turned off when i saw the screw cap...i questioned the class of the wine - screw cap wine bottles give me a bad visual - but it cost 10 bucks?! my wine merchant pointed out a 30 dollar bottle of chardonnay with a screw cap - 'nuff said i gave it a whirl - after all i was feeling rebellious...ya'know it's a great wine! it's deep , rich and bit spicy - licorice and pepper! smooth & classy i'll buy the bigger bottle next time - i want more!
I like both the Luzon an Luzon Verde and tried this on a recommendation of a wine shop. I found it less smooth and slightly more tangy than the luzon.
