Torre di Luna Pinot Grigio Venezie IGT 2011
Straw colored with green highlights. Delicate aromas with hints of pear, floral. Dry and full-bodied, discrete aromatic persistence, and a pleasant aftertaste. Perfect for poached or boiled clams, mussels, squid, octopus and grilled fish.Add winemaker's notes
Two and a half glasses
Enjoyed a glass at lunch today (in protest of our canceled long beach week due to Irene)... great nose and taste of pear with nice round body and mouthfeel. not your typical Pinot Grigio!
A little drier than I prefer, but really enjoyable notes of pear, lemon and orange blossom.

Torre di Luna's 2007 Pinot Grigio is a simple, easygoing wine with attractive varietal aromas and flavors. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2009.
This simple but pleasant white is very light in color and in body. It has a bright citrus nose and conjures delicate flavors of pear and melon. Crisp and refreshing, this is a perfect wine for a hot summer day. Chris Nielsen. A Pinot Gris wine from Trentino Alto Adige in Italy. 2006 Torre di Luna Pinot Grigio 750ml
