Torre Castillo Monastrell 2006

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

100 percent Monastrell from dry farmed, ungrafted vines and aged 4 months in new American oak. Medium dark ruby color with a rich nose of ripe red and black fruit. Rich, ripe and elegant on the well-balanced palate, showing sweet black raspberry flavors and sweet vanillan notes.

Deep red. Expressive bouquet evokes raspberry, blackberry, violet and white pepper. Silky in texture, with juicy red berry flavors, soft tannins and a moderately long, sweet finish. Offers solid appeal at an attractive price.
