Torii Mor Pinot Noir Dundee Hills la Colina 2006
"Earth layers lie behind the fruit andwill come forward with age. The flavors show cocoa, prunes and barreltoast. The soft, silky mouth feel is enhanced by a variety of ripe, juicy flavors. The finish is wonderfully balanced and lingers withlong notes of fruit. This wine shows the promise of great depth anddevelopment with cellaring."Winery Notes
Nice cherry fruit, with some of that Oregon earthiness I enjoy. Somewhat bitter however. Needs more time to integrate I think.
This is some of the best '06 Pinot I've had. As they described it as "their bread and butter"... I know why!
