Torbreck the Struie Italian Whites 2002
[Rocking Horse] Blackish-purple in color. Concentrated. Plums and smoke on the nose. Dark fruit, chocolate, spice, miminal oak on the palate. Reasonably balanaced for such a huge, young wine; good for drinking now though will likely improve with time. Wish I bought more; worth the price.
[Lamb burgers] Big wine. Black fruit on the attack, but short finish. Not the wine that I remember previously. Maybe an odd phase. Will hold these for a long time.
