Editorial Reviews for Torbreck Steading
This deep ruby-colored wine has a rich and complex nose of black truffle, pink pepper, sweet licorice and dried herbs . This is a juicy, fresh wine, with flavors of cherry, red plum, cedar and a hint of leather and thyme in the lifted finish. The tannins are ripe and supple and the wine is ready to drink now, though I believe it may gain some complexity with a few years of cellaring.

Ripe and opulent this is smooth in texture offering layers of stewed plum and spice notes splitting into clove nutmeg and cinnamon as the finish lingers easily. Grenache Shiraz and Mataro. Drink now through 2020.
Maroon rim surrounds an inky core. 60% grenache 20% shiraz 20% mataro. Aged for 24 months French hogsheads. Spicy cranberry oak black fruit bright raspberry plum and herbs lead into a full-bodied entry. Firm tannins intermingle with the lush structure. With it s ultra-long finish this is already appealing though it will benefit from additional short to mid-term cellaring. Eddie Wolowski.
Glass-staining ruby. Heady aromas of red fruits potpourri and blood orange are deepened by notes of licorice and cola. Offers penetrating raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a sexy note of floral pastilles. The blood orange note comes back on the gently tannic finish and adds cut to sweet very tenacious red fruit liqueur and anise flavors. This suave wine drinks very nicely right now.
