Clear garnet color with some brownish hues around the rim of the glass....think the stems of the grape berry brown and with great bubbly goodness upon adding some air to the mix through swirling. The aromas are very much of rich, ripe dark berry, muted black peppery spice and slightly meaty. The flavors follow suit but become even longer and are of super ripe blackberry, juicy black cherry and dry Earth. Medium mouthfeel and tannins linger on the finish....a very nice dinner wine and also nice on its' own after a good meal!

A ruby garnet in the glass and an inordinate amount legs on glass for only 13% abv. There is slight separation ring. Cherry and blueberry lead the way with herbal notes and pepper spice. Although I'm not a big fan of this much Cabbie to Sangiovese - it works and it works well. Smooth tannins meld wirh wonderful acidity here. Drink now - Paul 91 points

This is a great wine. I'm not a huge wine expert, but I do know what I like and as far as red goes, I like this!!
