Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico(1998)

This wine is great from it's smooth start, through it's robust fuity middle to it's lingering smoky finish. It is very aromatic and you can practically taste the wine before you even lift your glass. It's best if you decant the bottle and let it breathe a good 30 minutes first, but if you are impatient (like me) it is fine freshly uncorked. This is a full bodied sweeter wine and compliments nicely heavier meats or pasta dishes or makes a nice post meal wine as you can sip and savor and it only gets better.
