Tomero Malbec 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

89 points Wine Enthusiast: A bit rooty and smoky on the nose, with grapey, loud flavors of sweet berry, black plum and chocolate. The palate is full of choppy acids that keep it pumping forth, while the finish is richer and more chocolaty, with fig notes. A bruiser, but one that’s very good for varietal PV. (Aug 2011)

Four and a half glasses

Violet wine with berry, cherry, oak, and spices on the nose. A fruity, sweet beginning to the taste eventually makes way for a firm, spicy finish. A full-bodied, rich wine that is great when served with hearty foods.
