- The 2002 Atlantic County Villard Noir was harvested from our vineyard on October 1, 2002 with harvest sugar of 19.8 degrees Brix . Fermented for 10 days in stainless steel, the wine was then transferred to 2nd year air-dried American oak casks. Villard Noir grapes are a French hybrid grape one parent of which is Pinot Noir. The wine bears out the parentage. A bit heavier than Cabernet Franc. Lovely wine with cheeses and London broil.
