Though I am only an occasional drinker of sweeter dessert wines, I chose this one to pair with a Blood Orange sorbet. It was a good pairing. For the type of wine, I felt it has a medium balanced mouthfeel. Sweet, without being cloying, the wine has a good acidity to prevent the lingering swetness. Notes of honey, citrus, and fresh apricot were predominant on the nose. A very nice finish to a fine meal.

A beautiful light shimmering gold color in the glass. The sweet nose bursts out of the glass- honey layered on top of pear, peach, orange blossom, and hints of lavender. In the mouth, it is rich but also shows excellent acidity for balance. Far from ... Alex Shaw. A Proprietary Blend wine from in Hungary. 2003 Chateau Dereszla Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos 500ml
