Tohu Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

A typical growing season in Marlborough has produced Tohu Sauvignon Blanc 2009, a ripe, herbaceous sauvignon blanc displaying all of the characteristics of tropical fruit and capsicum, finishing with crisp, fresh acidity.

Brilliant pale green our Tohu Sauvignon Blanc has an intense mineral nose showcasing classic Awatere Valley characters of tomato stalk, gooseberries and lemongrass. On the palate our Sauvignon shows more herbaceous green pepper and fleshy guava notes with a steely minerality providing focus. Racy acidity provides a long and very crisp finish with a touch of fruit sweetness for balance.
